- About and bond.htm: Haven Exchange says it is “better than bonded,” has never been refused a bond, and decided to no longer participate in a fidelity-bond program; it argues California law makes a bond unnecessary if each exchange account is held separately, plus bank veto/passcode. No fidelity-bond dollar is published. Services.htm still says ALL exchange proceeds are covered by our Fidelity Bond — leftover copy that contradicts the dedicated bond page. This file does not invent a bond amount or resolve which sentence is current. Ask for today’s papers.

Fund handling
Services.htm: all funds placed in separate, fully segregated, completely liquid, FDIC-insured money market accounts at Union Bank of California; every client receives a monthly statement directly from that bank. Bond.htm: each account is a dual-signature, completely segregated, FDIC-insured qualified escrow account; two signatures plus a changing, randomly generated encrypted security code are required to release funds; the exchanger may have veto power directly with the bank via passcode. About: separate money market accounts for each exchange (not money-market funds).
Fee structure
Bond.htm: $650 covers one relinquished property and one replacement property; $175 for each additional replacement; $30 outgoing-wire fee. About and services repeat the $30 wire fee. Reverse/improvement dollars are not on those fee lines.
Who keeps the float
About, services, and bond.htm: the firm pays interest on funds while it holds them, on every account regardless of size. Services: 1099 to the taxpayer and IRS for any growth proceeds paid. No public rate card.
Who it is for
Independent California QI for exchangers who want Haven Exchange — a Huntington Beach corporation, not a title-escrow affiliate — to hold proceeds in a separate Union Bank of California FDIC money-market account with a monthly bank statement, dual signatures, and an encrypted release code, plus a published delayed-fee card. Public brand: Haven Exchange / Haven 1031 Exchange. About: wholly independent corporation. Office: 5942 Edinger Avenue, Suite 113, Huntington Beach, CA 92649. Toll-free (866) 794-1031. Email john@havenexchange.com. Fax (657) 202-9905. Nationwide from California. Dorothy Zink, President, CES®. Documents designed by attorney N. Brooke Gabrielson. Reverse and improvement / build-to-suit are on dedicated types and reverse pages. DST is not on the pages cited.
Verdict
Huntington Beach QI with a rare public fee card ($650 / +$175 / $30 wire), a named-bank segregated Union Bank of California money-market account, monthly bank statements to the client, dual-signature plus encrypted-code release, company FEA, and Dorothy Zink CES®. That is enough to list. The dedicated bond page says the firm does not currently participate in a fidelity-bond program — do not invent a bond dollar. Services.htm still has leftover “covered by our Fidelity Bond” copy; treat that as a contradiction to resolve with today’s papers, not a published limit. DST is unpublished. Ask for the live Union Bank title, who the two signers are, and whether the no-bond stance is still current before a large transfer.
Notes
This is a QI custody file, not a securities offering. The public brand is Haven Exchange / Haven 1031 Exchange. About: a wholly independent corporation, not affiliated with any escrow or title company. An Inc. suffix is not printed on the pages opened 2026-09-16 and is not invented here. Haven Exchange is the intermediary that would hold exchange proceeds. A Delaware statutory trust is typically a securities offering sold by a sponsor and registered representatives — a different product. The pages opened for this file do not publish a DST desk.
About: Dorothy Zink, President, Certified Exchange Specialist; member of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators. Those are a named CES® holder and a company FEA claim. Same page: attorney N. Brooke Gabrielson designed the documents, procedures, and policies; nationwide service from California.
Bond.htm fee card: $650 for one relinquished and one replacement; $175 for each additional replacement; $30 outgoing wire. About, services, and bond.htm: the firm pays interest on funds while it holds them.
Services.htm: separate, fully segregated, completely liquid, FDIC-insured money market accounts at Union Bank of California; monthly statement sent directly from that bank. Bond.htm: dual-signature, completely segregated, FDIC-insured qualified escrow; two signatures plus a changing, randomly generated encrypted security code to release funds. About: separate money market accounts for each exchange, not money-market funds. Dual-signature is therefore yes. The bank name is printed as Union Bank of California — confirm the live title, because bank brands change.
About and bond.htm: “better than bonded”; the firm says it decided to no longer participate in a fidelity-bond program and has never been refused a bond. No dollar amount. Services.htm still says all exchange proceeds are covered by “our Fidelity Bond.” Those sentences conflict. This file does not invent a bond limit and does not pick a winner. Ask which sentence is current.
Types page: delayed, reverse (title-holding / single-purpose LLC), improvement / build-to-suit, simultaneous. Reverse page: Haven Exchange creates the EAT LLC; “Our Reverse Exchange program.” Reverse and improvement are therefore yes.

Ask Haven Exchange for today’s account title at the bank, who the two signers are, whether the no-bond stance still holds, and a written reverse/improvement quote — then read those papers, not this summary.
