Published coverage notes

Peak’s February 27, 2024 California page republishes an Inside1031.com quote stating Peak has both fidelity bonds and errors-and-omissions coverage. No dollar limits appear on the Peak pages cited here.

Fund handling

The same Peak-hosted Inside1031.com quote states Peak does not commingle client exchange funds and holds funds in a Qualified Escrow Account. That is a third-party description Peak chose to publish about itself — not a Peak operations manual. Ask for the current account title and escrow agreement.

Who it is for

Nationwide delayed, simultaneous, improvement, and reverse 1031 exchangers. About page: QI work since 2003; part of the Peak Companies real-estate/financial services group.

Verdict

National Peak Companies QI with homepage FEA membership, two named CES® officers, and a published reverse/improvement menu. Custody language on Peak’s own site is mostly a republished Inside1031 blurb (no commingling, qualified escrow, fidelity and E&O exist) without dollar limits or dual-signature mechanics. Treat ‘best in California’ ranking copy as marketing, not this directory’s rating. Request certificates and the actual QEA before a large wire.

Notes

This is a QI custody file, not a securities offering. The public brand is Peak 1031 Exchange. A more specific entity suffix (LLC or Inc.) is not printed on the pages cited here. The homepage and About page state the firm is a member of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators and “a proud part of the Peak Companies.” About dates the QI work to 2003 and claims “thousands of successful exchanges” — the firm’s own count.

Homepage service list: delayed, simultaneous, improvement, and reverse exchanges. DST is not marketed as a QI product on those pages.

Named CES® holders on the management-team page: Ariel Messian, CES® (Lead Exchange Officer) and Chris Dozier, Esq., CES® (VP Business Development | East Coast). Other officers are listed without CES® and are not added here.

The February 27, 2024 California marketing page quotes Inside1031.com: no commingling, Qualified Escrow Account, and both fidelity bonds and E&O coverage. Peak published that quote about itself. Inside1031 is a third-party ranking site; this directory does not adopt its “best” list. Dollar limits for those policies are not on the Peak pages opened for this file, so bond and E&O amount fields are empty. Dual-signature is not described on those pages.
